The xx remixxast
Ein af mínum uppáhaldsplötum þetta árið er frumburður bresku sveitarinnar The xx sem einfaldlega nefnist XX. Hljómsveitin spilar afar naumhyggjulega rafvædda popptónlist og hefur eitt það svalasta sánd sem heyrst hefur lengi. Að sjálfsögðu hafa remixarar tekið við sér en þó að engin endurhljóðblöndum af lögum The xx nálgist svalheit upprunalegu útgáfnanna er þó full ástæða að tékka á nokkrum:

Fyrir stuttu endurhljóðblönduðu The xx svo sjálf lag með Florence + The Machine, “You’ve Got The Love”, en útgáfa þeirra er kannski nær því að vera þekja heldur en remix þó það sé skráð sem slíkt. Útgáfa The xx vakti að sjálfsögðu mikla athygli og nú hafa tvö remix af remixinu komið út. Við tékkum bara á þessu öllu!
